This chicken water float valve is great! Installation was a breeze—super simple to set up and get running with no leaks. Like most float valves, it works on gravity and does not require batteries or electricity. Once installed, I have peace of mind knowing my chickens will never run out of water. It’s incredibly convenient and comes with everything you need to connect to your existing water system. I’ve been looking at gravity fed self watering systems for fabric pots. These things are expensive so I’m going to try to duplicate one of these using this float valve. By using a 5 gallon bucket I will not have to worry about watering my grow tent every other day and will be able to go on vacation for a week or two.

This little waterer float valve comes with everything you need. Just hook a hose up to it and set it in a trough. The float works great and seals off the flow once the level is reached. Simple function, easy to use.

I really like the concept and it would work perfectly but the clip is too small. I have to figure something out to make it stay in place.

Especially for the price, this works perfectly. I was using this to replace a ball and stick style float valve in my reverse osmosis water tank. My tank had a threaded hole for a spout in the lid that this fit through. I did have to hack off the threaded part of the 90 to fit in the neck, but otherwise this worked perfectly- except for one small thing I overlooked.This was entirely my fault, but I may have overlooked the hole my old float valve left in the tank, and I may have flooded my kitchen. Entirely not this part's fault, and I can't be entirely sure of the function of it until I get a new tank
