This is a single ingredient puree - just pear and nothing else (no water, preservatives, or other fruits or veggies). It's definitely on the expensive side for baby food, but it's nice that it comes in glass jars. It has an applesauce consistency. No complaints from my baby on flavor!I ordered in late February and received a lot expiration date that was a little less than a year out.

$36 for a 12 pack is a bit high but they are organic & regeneratively farmed. The heavy metal testing is a big deal, there seems to be an issue with standard brands. If you have the means, give them a try. Single ingredient is good for early introductions. I'd guess the people complaining about taste/color aren't used to what unadulterated, unsweetened food actually looks & tastes like. If your food is incredibly sweet, that might not be a good sign.

My kiddo really likes this pear baby food. He'll actually waddle over to the pantry and bring it back to me when he wants it for lunch. I like that it's organic and the pack is an overall good deal.

There is only one ingredient in this Plum baby food: Regenerative Organic Certified Plum. I love how simple the ingredient is, it is really just like the baby food I made at home. The whole package comes with 12 jars, the amount is decent. Amazon did a great job on the delivery, no broken jars upon arrival. The Plum baby food has a dark red color with a runny texture. I tasted a little bit myself before giving to my baby, it has a good plum flavor and it is a little tart. My baby has sweet teeth and the tartness level in this plum won't work for her if given directly. So I mixed some sweet potato purée with this plum, and my baby ate it.I like the convenience of this Plum baby food, making baby food at home takes a lot time, and this plum baby food saves me time in the kitchen and makes my life a little easier. Overall, I like this Plum baby food and I have no issue continue giving to my baby.

We recently gave our little man a slice of apple to suck on, and he absolutely loved it! That was our cue to officially introduce apples as part of his solid food lineup. While searching for the right option, I came across this particular brand and was pleasantly surprised to learn that it’s sold exclusively at Whole Foods. It’s good to know I can grab it there, but honestly, I might find it more convenient to just order it through Amazon Prime and have it delivered straight to my door. The jars come neatly packaged and are the perfect size for easy storage, whether in the pantry or a cool, dry place. I specifically chose this brand because of its commitment to clean, high-quality ingredients. When introducing solids, it’s important to minimize unnecessary additives and preservatives. While avoiding them entirely can be challenging, it’s definitely worth the effort when possible. As for the taste test? Our little guy absolutely devoured half a container on his first try—he couldn’t get enough! I took a small taste myself, and I have to say, it’s naturally sweet and delicious. Because of the sugar content, I wouldn’t recommend giving this too late in the day, just to avoid a sugar rush before bedtime. The only downside is the price—it’s definitely on the higher end. However, I think it’s worth it, especially as a mixing option for meals or a convenient snack when we’re out and about. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for, and being mindful of what we give our little one is worth every penny. Look at the sellers website, they provide really good information about their products, it was very helpful. The remaining half of the container didn’t go to waste either—my wife mixed it into his oatmeal the next morning, and it was a huge success! Pairing it with more neutral foods seems to be a great way to help him eat more while still enjoying the flavor. Safe to say, this apple purée is now a staple in our little one’s diet!

These apple sauces are delicious and I'm not even a big fan of apple sauce myself. I feel confident feeding my little one these with all the testing they do after lots of research on the company before getting these. Since my son likes them I plan on trying their other purees soon as well! I do wish they were able to be open a bit longer in the fridge after first opening as my son doesn't eat a whole one at a time. They are also the cutest little jars, I've been keeping them for future crafts!
