I love the purple color and this hat is fine for a costume top hat. It's not super high quality or particularly durable. The price point of around $18 might be a tad high.I was able to put hat reducers on the inside by stacking one foam strip on two others to hold them in place. Otherwise, it can be hard for them to stick on the material (and there's no inner band). It's not felt, but is a bit slick.The color is more like the pics in the listing than my sample pics.

Steampunk party, here I come! This top hat is everything I hoped for...nice tall, dignified, and seriously high quality. It’s almost like felt, came in a protective box (so no crushing in transit!), and has no weird smells. I could wear this in a black tie event and it would look like a $100 or more hat easily. I’ve got a great vintage outfit, and this hat is the perfect finishing touch. I am so down with how it feels, looks, and holds up. I’ve got a curly, frizzy fro, and this slides on and off without giving me football helmet head—huge win. I even tried it with my hair in a little bun and it still went on and off with no issue. Now I just need to get my earrings right, and I am SKRAIT!

For roughly $17 (at the time of my purchase) this hat is a fun custome piece that's good enough for a week doing cosplay without breaking the bank. It is sized well and can fit on my head like you'd expect, and I can push it down over my crown a little without it being uncomfortable.

I'd rate this higher but honestly it is too small. I suppose it makes a good gag hat, but I was expecting to be able to wear it properly. Also it looks pretty cheaply made compared to the photo so you may want to pass on this one.

Can't have too many hats around for dress up. This is a fine hat, solid and looks exactly like the picture. It is large enough to fit my giant head, so that is a plus. I got a solid white one and it goes well with most outfits.

This is definitely not a "real" top hat, in the sense of being silk over cardboard or something structural. It's just plastic and polyester.That said, it does legitimately look beautiful and shiny, particularly at long range such as when you're on stage. It's absolutely suitable for amateur dramatics or a costume party, which is what I got mine for.One word of warning: the hat is delicate. If it gets crushed, it's ruined - it won't "snap back" like high-quality felt ones will, it'll have permanent creases no matter what you do. This also relates to Amazon shipping - the first one I ordered came in a paper envelope and was ruined. I sent it back with a note of complaint; the replacement arrived in a sturdy box and is beautiful.The first photo in the listing is accurate and a good picture of exactly what this hat looks like. The rest of the pictures are fun to look at, but you can tell they're AI-generated and do not give a particularly accurate depiction of the hat's appearance or size. I took off a star for that - not a fan of using AI to "depict" a product you're selling. Photoshop is bad enough.

I like to wear a lot of accessories when I dress fancy. This is a very well made hat and fits me well. This color really pops and matches my red suit jacket nicely.

This is so perfect for so many different parties and themes. We are having a 20’s Hollywood party and this is a prop for a table scape instead of to be worn but it’s so nice I’m already trying to think of some other party to throw to wear it. It isn’t tall, for a top hat, it’s a moderate height. The fabric is nice, feels like felt but seems much easier to clean. The ribbon is lovely. I also really like the fit of this hat, it fit me great but I think it will fit a larger persons head as well. The rim is a nice width. For the price, this is a great value. You’ll look like a million bucks.
