Great set for an elementary school project. The hat can fit a larger adult head, so may need a bolster to fit kids. The adhesive on the beard is strong and we were able to attach it to a face mask so it could be used again.

Used this for a project for my kid who needed to dress as Abe Lincoln for a presentation. Know that the beard is a one time use item. As soon as the beard is removed the sticky part is no longer sticky.

First off, the beard comes with three white pieces sticking to it making it seem like there would be some type of adhesive to stick it to you face. Once I took these pieces off there was nothing at all. So you’ll need to buy some prosthetic adhesive if you want to utilize this. As for the hat, it came in a box with something surrounding it and it was bent in several areas. Overall poor quality, useless beard (I’m lucky that I had prosthetic adhesive, otherwise it’s unwearable.)

Totally what I was looking for!! At my kid’s school, the 4th graders have an annual wax museum each year. Famous Americans that have made history. They have to make a report, a drawing, and have to dress up for the whole school, and the 4th grade parents to see.He picked Abraham Lincoln, and my first thought was we are going to need a top hat, and a big beard.The set included the top hat, a bow tie, and his famous bushy beard.The hat is great, holds up its shape. The bow tie is adjustable. The beard has double sided tape, that adheres to the skin.His project went great. I could also hear the other parents in the background saying how amazing Abraham Lincoln looked. I really shed tears of joy 🥰

The beard was thick, not see through or cheap looking. The hat was too big for my nine year old but we put a little stuffing in the top and that worked great. Adhesion on beard was pretty good. The bow tie was a nice addition as was easy to adjust the size. Overall, happy with this purchase.

This was perfect for my Abe lincoln costume! The hat was nice and sturdy and the bow tie was easy to take on/off. The sideburns of the beard didn’t stick too well but with a little costume glue, it stuck all night! Highly recommend this costume...& dressing up like guys for a bachelorette trip night out :D!

My 8 year old used this for a school project, and he felt really cool having the beard. The beard is only one time use though since the adhesive is not the best. It got the job done though.

I have an elementary school-aged child who needed to dress up like Abe Lincoln for a class presentation. I ordered this mostly based on price and delivery speed and it did the trick, but it wasn't great.The hat isn't really a stovepipe hat. It's a basic tophat that would need to be a bit taller to have a real Abe Lincoln vibe. It's like they had a stock tophat that they use for all kinds of costumes. The quality is good for a costume with the hat, but it doesn't scream "Lincoln."The beard is poorly done. It's basically a thin piece of fabric with fur coming off it. Kind of reminds me of a wolf costume, but cut out like a beard. It comes with double-sided tape on it and no other way to affix it. The tape did not work for my student, so there was some last-minute configuring with punching holes in it and using yarn to create a loop around the head, which sort of kept it in place, but not really. It worked in the moment, but I can't imagine a grown adult wearing it in confidence for any kind of costuming need.My student couldn't figure out how to get the bowtie on, so it didn't get used. That wasn't a fault of the product though, just the age of the child. The bowtie appears to be of decent quality, but again, it is not period-accurate or person-accurate. Just like the hat... close, but not quite.The bottom line is, if you go with this ensemble, people will know who you're trying to look like, but it's not going to be wow-worthy or look authentic. Just a cheesy version of Abe. It's good for the price, but I personally wouldn't purchase this again unless there really were no other options.
