I needed a washer which would seal up the overflow hole of my bath tub. I was sick of having shallow baths and wanted to be able to fill the bath right up to the top without the overflow letting water out. Turns out bath overflow covers are apparently not a popular product so you can't really buy any pre-made.Long story short I used this silicone to create a custom-sized silicone washer which covered my overflow hole. I inserted a chrome bath plug stopper through the middle of the washer and tightened it up through a bit of wood at the back of the bath. I sealed everything up with extra (liquid) silicone and it looks awesome.The 2mm sheet was the perfect thickness to fit under the stopper to keep water out without excess bulk.
