I took this on a short backpacking trip recently and really like that it packs small and it's light. Once I got it inflated at the campsite it took me some time to figure out the proper inflation for myself on this pad. I had it overinflated at the start which made it too firm. Letting some air out made it far more comfortable. The main downside is that my partner is a light sleeper and she really hated the noise it makes when I move around, like a mylar baloon or bag of chips crinkling from the aluminized film on the inside. I'm probably going to keep this pad for solo use but picking up a Nemo Tensor (currently on sale at REI) because it's design is supposedly much quieter with similar ratings in comfort and quality. I do wish I knew the noise could be a concern before I bought it.
