On my very old Rolling Shop Stool, 3 of the 5 wheels fell apart where it didn't roll well anymore. I can't read the tag anymore because it is so faded & I recovered the seat years ago, so I didn't know who made it. I ordered this 1 pair of Big Red 2.5" Caster Wheels, 1st to make sure that they would work. They did, so I decided to order the Big Red (6) pack since it was cheaper than ordering (2) more pairs of these. The threaded stem has a square base, so it locks into your stool's flat platform as you are tightening the nut. I had to go to my local hardware store to get (5) sets of washer & lock nut, under $4.00 (I knew I would do this from their diagram description), since the threaded stem assembly nut was used for the newer carts with aluminum bar supports (See photo)! Replaced all 5 swivel caster wheels (With a couple of spares now). The Rolling Shop Stool is now back to working properly!
