I had a friend put this on, he didn’t need the arm part, and he didn’t connect it properly to my chain, but my son was able to easily fix that. I’ve been riding it for several months now with no problems.

This crank set was a great upgrade to my Bolton Avenger, to lower the gear ratios and make the bike better on trails and steep terrain. I now have a granny gear for really steep hills.

I recently bought my wife a Specialized Roll low-entry bike which has a single 42t chainring. I liked the simplicity of the single chainring, but I wanted to gear it down a bit for her so that tackling mild hills would be easier. This crankset was perfect. After installing it, which was easy, I figured I'd need a shorter chain, either removing some links from the stock one or buying a new, shorter one. I took it to my LBS and discovered that the existing chain was fine; the derailler just had to be adjusted a bit. Long story short, for about 35 bucks I customized the gearing on this bike and my wife really enjoys it. This was a very worthwhile purchase.

Not particularly pretty, but I love the lack of branding. strong arms with a wide q-factor, and decent narrow wide chain ring included. Bought for a gravel conversion on a vintage Panasonic touring, which it will go back onto when I can buy a new crankset for my Poseidon FX Tracklocross, which my much more expensive, State Black Label Track crankset wouldn’t play nice with, of course now I wouldn’t be without a N/W ring on that mighty steed anyway, so it was a blessing in disguise.
