The solid mahogany and spruce combined with the smaller body size make for a truly enjoyable–and versatile guitar to play.

I put a k and k pure mini in, sounds great. The guitar is very open. It did need a proper set up/fret dress but that’s to be expected at this price point in my opinion. Maybe you’re won’t need that work, highly recommend the guitar itself.

Made in China, but don’t let it fool you. The guitar sounds and looks great. Go get it set up by a good luthier and this thing sings. The size of the neck is perfect for easy movement and finger picking style. This guitar I would say is more of a choice guitar. It’s not a one size fits all. If you’re looking for a affordable guitar that sounds great give it a try because it might be exactly what you’re looking for. Definitely was for me!

I've had this guitar for two days and I've never played a 000 with so much volume and richness. If sounds more like a dreadnought. The tone is very well balanced with nice sustain and overtones. The D'addario strings seem to suit it very well. The playability is amazing, chording is easy, and I feel it's actually making me become a better player. Cosmetically it's just gorgeous with an excellent fit and finish. I've had a couple Martins over the years that were about the same 000 size, and although they cost substantially more, neither one cones close to this Blueridge. If you're looking for a 000 size for playing comfort but don't want to sacrifice sound, definitely try this model. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

I don't typically write product reviews, but I felt inclined to write this one. Last week I purchased a BR-143. I played many OM & 000 models and it came down to 2 models and those 2 were the BR-143 and the Martin 000-28. I liked the neck feel of the Blueridge better than the Martin. The sound quality of both of them was a amazing, clean, and punchy. If you strum an open chord you can hear every single note. There was nothing muddy about the sound of either guitar. I really like the sound of the Sitka spruce top paired with the mahogany back and sides. The construction of both guitars is superb, and the fit and finish was amazing with no signs of sloppy glue joints. Next, I turned my back and asked the salesman to play each guitar several times and I could not determine which guitar was being played. So it really came down to how they felt and I liked the feel of the Blueridge over the Martin. Now here is the good part, the Blueridge is about a quarter of the price of the Martin. Talk about value and bang for the buck. Oh yea, did I mention that is pretty to look at too?

This guitar is incredible. I bought it for someone else, but after playing it, WOW! Amazing, super clean sound, beautifully made, the headstock inlay really makes this guitar pop! The sound is clean and loud, great for a strictly acoustic guitar. I'm thinking about adding one to my collection, if I can find the room.

Blue Ridge guitars are made in China. That should be a good indicator of what the quality is. I picked one of these up in my local music store thinking "These look pretty. I wonder what they sound like. I bet they're made by mountain craftsmen." I looked in the sound hole and saw "Made in China". I was disgusted.

I have had mine for about 4 years now. just a hint wider neck than my D-28, makes for nice finger picking. I put K/K transducer so can play plugged in. well made and pretty to look at...
