I ordered this heater to help protect my RV plumbing from freezing. Previously, I tried another brand with no adjustability but its temperature set point was too low. It actually turned ON/OFF around 32 degrees, allowing water to freeze.Based on that experience, I wanted to try this heater since it would allow me to raise the temperature setpoint, in case the thermostat was inaccurate. After testing the heater in the RV, I found that the thermostat is accurate. This heater actually turns ON/OFF around the temperature that is dialed in with the adjustment knob.I am very happy with this heater. It will do exactly what it is designed to do and I will not have to worry about frozen water lines in the RV.

This one is different from others because the thermostat can be adjusted in a broad range rather than just one temperature. I know others can only start heating up while at 42C.

Dry well built. Solid. This has been working well in the basement of my RV. Just make sure to leave some space in front where the heat exhausts as its very hot. I like that it has the adjustable thermostat.

So far I've only been able to test this unit out inside of a closed structure like a workshop/garage but from what testing I could do this works great. I am looking to install this is my other workshop that is towards the back end of my land which is powered via solar panel and battery combo and I think this will be a great addition allowing me to get more time and usage out of that shop that I can at the current time as it tends to get a bit cold out there and while I do store seasonal items out there its the only place where I keep winter gear as well and when things break its a lot of effort to move things to the shop near the house just for simple repairs and its a bit too cold out at the shed to make the repairs onsite. I will try to update the review after installing and testing the unit out some more but at the moment it operates as expected, noise level is low to nearly un-noticeable, and get it up and running (ease of installation) in my case was very simple.

The heater was a complete failure right out of the box. I tested it by putting it in the freezer and then plugging it in. It wouldn’t even turn on until I cranked the thermostat to 55 degrees. Even then, it ran for just a few minutes before shutting off. I tried over and over, but it just doesn’t work properly.The LED is supposed to change colors like it says on the casing, but it doesn’t. And the thermostat? Totally inaccurate. The heater turns on and off at temperatures that are at least 20 degrees off from what’s advertised. It’s misleading, and I honestly don’t know how they get away with selling a product like this.On top of that, the build quality is terrible. Everything feels cheap and low-quality, the paint started peeling off almost immediately. It’s clear this thing wouldn’t last long, especially in tough conditions.And don’t bother trying to get help from their so-called customer support. The phone number and email on their website don’t even work. If you have a serious issue with this product, you’re on your own.

Perfect for keeping my boat warm to later in the season. We will be able to use our I/O over Christmas with family instead of saying you should come in the summer
