The north never pointed north, I feel sorry for anyone that doesn’t already know where it should be pointing. It was showing south was north until I turned wit( the compass then it pointed west. Terrible product.

Compass was mounted on the plastic dash of a pickup and consistently had the wrong heading. Would hate to be relying on this unit on open water in a boat where there are no street signs to help with navigation
