Very easy to build, big enough for our 7 chicks. They liked the feeders for water. Thought the spot in the clear wall was awesome for the thermometer, but NO! That temp is about 10 degrees lower than under the lamp....NOT GOOD! So we put the thermometer on the floor directly below the lamp, and that's working well.

Using this for two silkie chicks. They have been in there two months, works perfectly, extremely easy to clean!

Great little brooder box, but definitely on the small side. I wouldn’t put more than 6 in it. More would fit, for a very short time, but doesn’t seem like it would be roomy enough to get away from the heat if they need to. I have a separate temp gauge on the back of the box as the front 1 is in a very cool spot. Plastic pops out easily, but it keeps the chicks in. Has worked well for my classroom use.

I recently picked up this Brooder Box for Chicks, and it has been a great addition to my setup. The 15.7×15.7×19.7-inch size is perfect for a small batch of chicks, giving them enough room to move around while keeping them contained and safe.Pros:✔️ Sturdy Build – The materials feel durable and well-made, ensuring long-term use.✔️ Good Ventilation – The design allows for proper airflow, which is crucial for maintaining a healthy environment.✔️ Easy to Assemble & Clean – Setup was straightforward, and the smooth surfaces make cleaning a breeze.✔️ Keeps Heat Well – Works great with a heat lamp or heating plate to maintain the right temperature for the chicks.Cons:➖ Might be a bit small if you're raising a larger number of chicks.➖ A bit of assembly required, but nothing too complicated.Overall, this brooder box is a solid choice for anyone raising chicks. It keeps them comfortable, contained, and easy to monitor. Definitely recommended for small-scale poultry keepers!

This is pretty nifty. A little challenging to put together for one person. Holding and putting it together, need another arm. But that’s not the fault of the product. All holes aren’t pre drilled but wood is soft. All materials, plus extras included. It looks good. It is not for outdoor use. Including the waterproof pads for the bottom is a nice touch.Good size. I have seven brand new chicks in it. They will be fine until it’s time for them to be at lower temp with more space. Light works well and the temperature adjustment is easy. All in all I am extremely pleased.

Wood type? ½” thick and too soft & light weight (like balsa). It’s NOT a real RTA kit, fitting requires some extra work, corner fits are off (serious gaps). Screws are like brads. Hinges and their screws are extra-light duty. The porcelain socket screws are too short, making reliability iffy. Plexi-glass is thin. Temperature gauge is in Centigrade only. I use an INKBIRD to reliably regulate temperature; so the provided inline-rheostat is of no use, to me. I only intend to use it occasionally to brood a few (10) 'select-breed' chicks after hatching. Price point is a bit high for the product. Crossed fingers.
