It is a nice bonsai tree, but it was a outdoor tree which requires colder outdoor temperatures than the indoor trees. It seemed hard to return since it was a lot of foam peanuts and pretty large box since I ordered a couple of trees. I ended up keeping it and putting outside on the patio since I figured I would not pack it well enough to ship back. But really wanted an indoor tree, and since that is what I ordered, is the reason for the rating. If I didn't have a outdoor place, I would have rated it one. Some people might not have an outdoor place to put their tree.The Bonsai tree was nice size in a 8" x 6.5" x 3" white pot (measurements include a large rim of the pot). The tree is about a foot high after about 10 months. The tree seems health overall, but it has a lot of brown leaves in this hot weather summer. And it is a little sparser on the amount of leaves compared to when it first arrived. I have been generally watering every few days. They packaged the tree very nicely to protect the tree. And the box was much strong than the typical shipping box. So I was very happy that nothing was broken on the tree or pot. The tree leaves look like the picture they provided and had a few months ago little pomegranate fruit but not sure what happened to those.

When I first placed the order I was worried how the bonsai might look like being stored in a box for some time. The first picture showed it arrived well packaged and looked beautiful. Only a flower bud fell off whilst in transition but the other few buds remain intact. It arrived late March. I placed the bonsai outdoor in a place with bright sunlight. After a few weeks the flower had bloomed and bud fell off, no new buds grew and the leaves turned yellow and was not looking too good. I am new to bonsai so I lookes for ways to improve its health. So after 2 plus months it has started to bloom again. Bright colored buds popping up all over. See the second picture shown. An enduring plant that has beautiful flowes , I am looking forward to how it turns out in the Fall. I keep this bonsai outdoor so it can receive plenty of sun. Highly recommend!

The packaging was through and smart. The trey for the pebbles is plastic but it looks lovely and will do the job well. The bonsai itself is in ceramic and it's so pretty. The only questionable thing is that it came with "care instructions" that said there would be a card with this specific type of trees light and water preferences, and that card is mia, but there's always google!The plant thrived in many locations in my home, as long as it got at just a few hours of sun whether it was morning or evening. Unfortunately, it didn't survive a recent house fire. I'll forever think about the bloom I had just gotten.

I’ve now ordered 8 bonsai from Brussels Bonsai. Every single tree received has been well packaged, robust and well hydrated. BB has their shipping system dialed and most trees have arrived ahead of schedule. Amazon prices are cheaper than their website. Be sure to watch for sales. I will continue to order from Brussel’s via Amazon as I have been extremely happy with price, quality and service

Looked like a good value and advertised as a beautiful plant. What I received looked nothing like a tree or plant .. it looked like a withered stick. It was originally bought on here as a returnable item until Jan. 2025 that part has since been rescinded and I am the proud owner of a $40 8 inch stick.

The came well packed, just got it a couple days ago. I live in California and the tree is thriving indoors under a sky light @ inside temp of 62-68 F. At first I put the bonsai out side where it did received late afternoon sun, and the tree didn't like that, I noticed that some of the newer leaves looked all soggy and drooping. I then placed it where it is now, watered it, gave it a prune and the same leaves look new and are totally growing.

I ordered 3 different trees, which were all well packaged, and two arrived in amazing shape. However, the pomegranate tree looked like half was dead or dying. I thought maybe it was from being boxed, so I set it out on my south facing porch which receives good sun, and watered it every morning as the directions indicated. After about a week it had lost most of its leaves and was brown.I contacted Brussels Bonsai customer service via email and provided pictures of the tree as I unpacked it and then a week later. Lisa with Brussels responded quickly and sent out a replacement. My new tree arrived in a timely manner, was well packaged, and is beautiful, green, and has flowers and buds on it. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. If you’re on the fence about ordering from this company, don’t be. Their bonsai’s are of amazing quality and price, and their customer service is top notch!

I would have given it five stars, but it wasn't secure in the box and it looks like it bounced around the box a bit. The plant is a high quality plant though! It was just a little damaged.
