I have purchased from this company before, and I will again. The stock arrives properly covered in a wet paper towel. Simply unwrap them and give them a tall glass with water to get the roots to start. All three large trunks are doing very well and had roots in a very short time. You also get 2 smaller trunks of each genus, and they are doing just as well. All 9 had roots ready for soil in roughly 3 weeks. All 9 are now looking good and thriving in their bonsai pots sitting on my bonsai wall. Two of the golden curls have already needed a little trim. If you don't have patience for seeds, want a high success rate or want a strong trunk immediately, this is a great choice and value.Just like any plant, you need quality roots so don't plant in soil too quickly. You also need to make sure they have water and food. Quality soil usually has enough food to get a plant established. For watering, I use an automated system that waters all of my bonsais for a few seconds every three hours. You can certainly manually water your trees but never let the roots get dry.

I am really trying to make these trees grow. Every time I take them from the water and plant them, they don't do well. I know it is my fault.The reason for a 5-star review is because of customer service. These guys are top notch way above their peers.

Willows arrived quickly. Very nice selection and appreciate the extras that were included. Highly recommend. Put in water for a few weeks before potting them. All are healthy and thriving. Thanks again.
