I believe connectors are a problem or ground. Overheated after 4 years and left me on water for first time ever. Ordered another one rather than oem and it’s running late. If tach gauges stop working check rectifier.

This item was a little larger than the OEM but it worked just as well. Plus it wasn’t $600 more than what the marine repair shop wanted for the exact same thing I couldn’t believe it

Fit perfectly on 100hp 4 strike Yamaha outboard engine. The fins and housing were just a little larger than the OEM parts but is working like a charm

Extremely satisfied!!! I had doubts that this product would work for my application due to the low price. Other brands and OEM replacement can cost more the $100. Installed on a 2000 Mercury 90 HP Four Stroke. All electrical connections matched perfectly, install in less than an hour. Larger than OEM but there was enough room and it fit the original bolt pattern. I would highly recommend.

This product works well on my 2004 90 Mercury outboard. So pleased with the first one for the price, that is working great, that I ordered a spare just to have one in case I ever have any trouble and these are not available for any reason.Received product in 2 days on top of that so very pleased with the product and the service.RM

The caltric regulator fits perfectly on my Mercury 90hp. The motor runs just like new. The only complaint I may have is that it took close to a month to be delivered.Thanks
