Worked fine in the driveway, as soon as I hit the road it for fried out, actually had a hot bubble on the back afterwards. Does not work for this application. Stick with OE!! I wish I would have listened to the other bad ratings saying the same thing.

This is the second one I have had to install in less than two years. But, they are cheap and it is a 5 minute fix. It wouldn't bother me as much if it didn't blow out $30 headlight bulbs when it fails.

This was an exact fit for my Vstar 1100 custom, plug and play once you get the plastic cover freed up to allow access. Solved my battery discharging problem.

It was a slightly different size and shape as the factory one, so I got worried for a second. But it fit right in the slot and works great! So cheap!
