This suction cup mount mounts securely to a smooth surface. I drove around with it on the hood of my car. No problem. It was also removed without damage. However, I was unable to secure the arm that mounts to the suction cup, so it doesn’t slide. It didn’t fall off, but it made me nervous to use my equipment on a moving vehicle. I will use it on stationary applications.

Love this. I got it to replace my flimsy I bought earlier that broke on the same day I bought it. This one is visibly and palpably stable and sturdy. Not as light weight but since I use it for my camera I don’t mind. It’s stable and works for what I need it!

By itself, it can only safely hold action cameras.I with several of these, I can use multiple sizes and triangulation to use these for film car rigging. They hold really well, but I usually am running heavier cameras so I connect several suction cups together along with gimbals and various other stabilization mechanisms.These smaller one are useful for places on vehicles where the larger suction cups can’t fit, like the fenders and around wheel wells.The included arm is awesome and useful on its own. I’ve connected monitors to camera rigs with it, etc.Easy to use. Make sure you use safety chains too if you do any car rigs.

This suction cup turned out to be a complete disappointment. Despite following all instructions carefully, the suction simply does not hold. Whether on a car windshield, boat surface, or any smooth surface, it loses grip within minutes, making it completely unreliable for securing a camera or phone.The pump-activated vacuum mechanism seems poorly designed, as it fails to create a strong seal. Even when it appears to stick initially, any slight movement or vibration causes it to detach. This makes it unusable for action shots or any setup where stability is required.Additionally, the build quality feels flimsy, especially for something that is supposed to support expensive equipment. The ball head and quick-release mechanism are decent, but they don’t matter if the suction won’t stay in place. It’s frustrating and unsafe to use, as I wouldn't trust it to hold my camera even for a short period.Overall, this product does not work as advertised and is a waste of money. If you’re looking for a secure suction mount, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

This is a high quality device and the suction is VERY strong. Nicely built with metal parts and it feels good to use. It does not feel cheap at all like some other ones. This would work well for a camera or GoPro type device. If you have a need for this, it would work well.

This suction cup mount from Taisioner has a neat pump built into the base that allows you to suction it onto a glass surface and than pump out the excess air to super secure it. In fact the suction power was so great that when I was testing it without a camera mounted it stayed on my window for more than a day and a half.The pump has a white marker that indicates how much suction power it still has (when you pump it up you keep pumping until the white marker disappears). Over time that white marker will reappear indicating that the suction power might be weaker but even when I saw the white marker reappear on my test mount I was unable to pull it off of the window. It was really on there tight and I was not able to dig my nail under the cup to release it either so I was just forced to wait another few hours for the mount to fall off on it's own. Now this is great for a suction mount but I can see this becoming an issue out in the field when you need to remove the suction cup from a car window or to change the perspective of the camera.The build quality of this unit is nice and sturdy made with a combination of aluminum rubber and plastics. The suction cup base has a variety of mounting points for all types of screw sizes and the main arm is mounted on using nato rail system. I did notice that when mounted in the middle of the nato rail that the arm would vibarate a little if shaken however if you move the mount all the way to the top of the rail (opposite of the opening where you slide it on) that it was super stable and secure.The arm itself seems like the weaker point of the mount, I felt like I was not able to tension the middle knob enough to prevent that middle piece from moving or rotating so I think this mount would only really be good for mounting action cameras or smaller cameras as I think there is plenty of tension to support lighter weight cameras. The mount also comes included with a gopro mount atop of the arm as well as a 1/4 20 thread underneath for mounting traditional cameras.Overall I think this is a great suction mount, the pump up base makes me confident that it will keep my camera securely suctioned to windows without the fear of it falling off. I feel like I can trust that white indicator marker to tell me how much suction is remaining and if I need to remount or at least repump the mount. I am loving it so far and will be including it as a part of my videography kit.

As many others have stated, the sizing of the nato clamp on the friction arm is too big. Because of this, it is basically useless, not only with the suction cup, but on any nato rail. You are unable to tighten it enough for it to stay in place.I tested it on my camera cage's nato rails as well and it has the same issue.I'm still going to give this 2 stars because the suction cup works pretty well. The mechanism works well and the suction is solid and consistent. My only complaint is that it is almost too difficult to remove the suction cup fromt he surface when you're done.Because of the flaw in the friction arm, I can't recommend purchasing this over any others on the market.
