These are couplers used to join together 15mm rods. I wanted to be able to attach a rod-mounted matte box on the front of my camera but didn't want to use extra long rods, which would have made transporting my camera more difficult. With these, I can quickly attach/remove the front rods on set. They work perfectly for my needs.

They are solid joints and work as expected to connect two rods together.But just be aware that they work only for Neewer brand rods.

Neewer is one of my favorite equipment brands. They have high quality products for a great price. These work perfect on my 15mm rods

These are a really nice quality set of four connectors. They fit my 15mm rods perfectly, hold tight, and are very smooth. I wouldn't try to use them for connecting slider rails, but they'll do awesome for support extensions (like they're made for)! They look nice, and I have no hesitation in using them on my gear.

I'm frankly baffled how a company could mess up such a simple connector. It's not like it's some unusual thread type. Yet, this set of connectors is terrible.I tried the couplers in multiple different 15mm rods. They wouldn't thread fully into any of them. And from connector to connector, there's a noticeable difference in how far they'll even thread in before binding (see the picture).I confirmed with an M12 bolt that my tubing is NOT the source of the problem. These connectors simply aren't any good.Maybe I got a bad batch? Who knows. Regardless, I'm sending them back and will try a different brand.

Perfect for holding two 15mm rods together for a camera rig! Good for a small camera rig where you just need an extension and it is lightweight. Strong materials and should last! A great value!

These connectors as you might expect, work well in terms of joining up your 15mm rods to make a larger rig for a bigger camera system. They screw in well and don't work themselves loose at all. Just one thing to be mindful of. Though they are perfect for Neewer's system, they do not work well with other brands like Smallrig. They seem to have a different threading on their 15mm rods and these will NOT screw all the way into them, so just make sure they're for the same make rods you want.
