This gimbal support vest works great. It's an amazing piece of kit, especially considering that the next closest thing is somewhere around 2-3 times the price. The vest does a great job of distributing the load. I like keeping the bottom strap tight, so it puts most of the weight on my hips. There are quick releases for everything, so you don't have to chicken wing your way into it like a backpack. Plus, it's easy to pull the camera and gimbal system off, too, because there's a quick release right on the bottom. There's also a slick system to adjust the height of the whole rig up/down by 10-12 inches. This can make an extra heavy rig more comfortable, but it can also be crucial if trying to get extremely low angled shots. And, to get even lower, the entire gimbal system can be mounted underslung, too.
