È uno di quelle piastre che non ti cambiano la vita, ma rendono tutto più fluido e pratico, soprattutto se sei uno che passa continuamente dal treppiede al gimbal o viceversa.Questa piastra è pensata per i gimbal della serie DJI RS RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, e si incastra alla perfezione, la piastra base è larga 50 mm e lunga 135 mm, quindi non c’è bisogno di stare a fare i conti con righello alla mano: si monta e via.La cosa bella è che ti permette di passare da un treppiede tipo Arca al gimbal in un attimo, senza perdere tempo a svitare e riavvitare tutto, poi c’è il supporto per l’obiettivo, che è regolabile verticalmente fino a 25 mm. Lo stacchi dalla base, lo fissi con una vite a mano (zero attrezzi, il che è sempre un plus), e puoi alzarlo o abbassarlo per adattarlo al diametro della lente, funziona sia con il supporto originale DJI che con quello esteso di SmallRig, e devo dire che aiuta un sacco a tenere la camera stabile.Il meccanismo di blocco automatico è poi ottimo, premi la piastra quadrata sulla base per un secondo e clic, si blocca da sola, c’è pure una levetta di sicurezza che puoi alzare per essere sicuro che non si sganci per sbaglio, per toglierla, basta premere il pulsante di sgancio rapido e sei a posto, semplice, ma fatto bene.La piastra quadrata è tipo Arca, quindi ha quattro bordi che si adattano a un sacco di teste per treppiede, io l’ho provata passando dalla mia fotocamera sul treppiede al gimbal in pochi secondi, e funziona liscio come l’olio.E la costruzione? Robusta, niente da dire, è fatta in lega di alluminio anodizzato nero con un po’ di acciaio inossidabile qua e là, e si sente che è solida, regge fino a 10 kg, quindi puoi montarci tranquillamente anche setup belli pesanti senza paura che ceda, la lavorazione si nota: tutto è preciso, non ci sono spigoli strani o pezzi che ballano.Difetti? Boh, forse il prezzo potrebbe far storcere il naso a chi non usa il gimbal tutti i giorni, ma se sei un videomaker che vive di transizioni rapide e setup versatili, vale ogni centesimo.Consigliato!

So far so good! The system works great when changing from my RSC 2 gimbal to handheld in seconds without recalibrating afterwards.

Ottimo sistema di collegamento e sgancio rapido delle telecamere.Ben rifinito e con materiali di qualità.È presente anche un comodo supporto per sostenere l'obiettivo e distribuire meglio il carico.Si qualcosa alla perfezione e garantisce una ottima tenuta anche in posizioni di fuori equilibrio grazie alla possibilità di bilanciare il baricentro spostando il gancio.Mi è molto piaciuto, un ottimo supporto

As is usual with Neewer accessories, this Quick Release mount is extremely well made. I use it on the rig that I made for copying negatives and slides, and the lens support is at just the right point for my 60mm macro lens and tucks away neatly after use.It is rather restricted unless you’re using it with the matching gimbal or DJI Drone (which will be on the Christmas list AGAIN this year), but for now it sits nicely on my home-made copying rig and provides a nice quick-release plate with a support that can be raised to rest against my Fuji Macro lens. This rest is a fixed 11cm from the tripod screw for the camera and is likely to foul the focussing ring of many lenses, so unless you buy it for it’s intended purpose, measure carefully!As with most quick-release plates, this one attaches firmly to the camera and snaps into place on the body of the mount, locking securely. Moving a stiff switch and pressing it in releases the plate, so using it for a while has shown that it is easy to remove the camera for a battery change etc, but so far has proven impossible for it to come off accidentally or not to be attached securely. Once the camera is locked into place, it is secure. I like it.

This quick release system improves the usability of DJI Ronin RS3.- While being nearly the identical width and height as RS3's included baseplate, it manages to squeeze in a quick release system. Having another quick release system usually adds height to the gimbal setup and makes it harder to balance. This system from Neewer offers a quick release without added height.- The quick release system appears to be sturdy in my short testing.- The lens support is nicely hidden underneath the baseplate until needed.Some considerations:- Using this means keeping Neewer's quick release plate on the camera. This quick release plate is NOT compatible with F38 or Pgytech's Snaplock. So it means having to use Neewer's quick release ecosystem which doesn't have too many types of clamps yet. Neewer already has multiple different quick release systems. I hope Neewer will continue supporting this system as it seems to be their best yet. It'll be great if they can at least name the quick release system so that I can find compatible plates and clamps.- Their quick release plate doesn't have any feature for preventing the plate from loosening. For example, Pgytech has a special washer to prevent rotational forces from loosening the screw.- The lens support, when kept unused underneath, rattles a bit during quick movements. Barely noticeable but might bother some folks.Overall a good solution from Neewer. I hope to see more support for this quick release system from Neewer.
