bolted up and ran great. choke shaft is horizonal not vertical like original. o well

Thanks to a youtuber Bert, I replaced a Tecumseh OH160 carb with this one and it worked great for this 16hp. The ones I found on ebay and Amazon was $300. Will buy again from this seller. Thanks for your advise Bert.

The carb for my Miller welder with a Tecumseh 16HP has not been produced for about 30 years. If you find a new one, it will cost about $600 bucks. The main difference on this new carb is the choke lever is on the side instead of top - very minor inconvenience. Carb to block mounting bolts are a little tougher to get in, and you will need to center the carb because the carb flange is slotted. Mine started right up and runs perfect. I had to adjust the idle stop down a little. Also had to enlarge the throttle link hole about one drill bit size - no big deal. BTW - The bowl is steel on this carb. SO much better than the original aluminum. BEST DEAL EVER ON A CARB REDO!
