I've never used or seen these before so I figured I would check them out.Out of the box, I was left scratching my head on how to install these, and how to use them. No instructions are included and the description/photos on Amazon page are dumb. It shows this contraption magically stuck onto the rod- courtesy of a bad photo-shop job. I thought there was a strong 3M adhesion tape, but there is not. Maybe you are supposed to use nylon ties to put it on like the video shows. Speaking of which, the video, I believe it is a customer review, is the closest thing that describes how to use it.The company does not seem to make any fishing gear. Not a big deal but next time they jump into this niche, they should not assume all anglers are familiar with this product. Maybe after I figure it out and get some practice in, I can up my review. Right now, I am wondering if they will improve my casts. We shall see.

Bought this after I switched to braid on my surf rod. Had a finger slice issue trying to launch a heavy cast. This item takes care of that problem! I don't know why these aren't standard on rods. Put one on my wife'srod and she is getting used to it. Highly recommend!! Tight lines everyone!
