Analog meter shows you certain things that a digital meter can'tFor example it gives you a dynamic real time readingIf your amps are pulsing, a digital meter just gets confusedThis meter is not terribly well made, it's not terribly accurateBUT it's inexpensive, it works, l like itIt's absolutely better than the comparable GB product
