I have no idea if this is an actual cobra brand luggage rack.. the dimensions were really really off. The instructions say remove bolts, slide it in and put the bolts back on. Didn’t happen that way at all- took me at least an hour of removing my saddlebags, the sissy bar, one bracket, then needing to bend metal and snap my fingers once or twice trying to fit it in. Ended up stripping bolts and everything because it was way off. I was really surprised it was that off.

At first look, it seemed too wide to bolt on by almost an inch. However, after removing the 4 bolts attaching the sissy bar to the mounts, i realized it was a spring affair. Took a bit of coxing, and a soft clamp but its on.Looks A-1. Says its a 10lb load limit on it, but I fancy you could lift the rear wheel off the ground using it and a chainfall or come-a-long.The welds look decent the chrome is good as well.RandyVStar 1100 classic ('08)

The lugs are a bit shorter than the older Cobra luggage rack I was replacing . That could be a problem depending on your seat style.

Purchased this product for $142.19 + tax for my 2009 V-Star Classic 650. Amazon said it fit my 'vehicle' as I have it listed in 'my garage'. The product description said will fit Cobra sissy bar. This is my first M/C and I bought it used. I made the incorrect assumption that I must have had a Cobra sissy bar and purchased. When I tried to install I realized that this in fact did NOT fit my sissy bar. Reached out to customer service for refund and was initial told the description said must fit Cobra. I pointed out that Amazon said it would fit. They issued a return authorization, for which I of course had to pay return shipping. I later received a refund for $105.33. I have written the seller MULTIPLE times asking for an explanation for the deduction and absolutely ZERO reply. I would NOT trust this seller.

if you don't buy the whole set you get no brackets, I cannot use a sissy bar so now I have an expensive chrome rack/ SO if you don't need the whole thing don't waste your money, I called Cobra and they said it be cheaper to buy sissy bat as opposed to brackets that cost 60$ apiece. Plus shipping from California, to Fl.

this is the rack I was looking for it fit perfect and is over size, I took it out of the box which it is a big box, and installed it in less than 5 minute just need it a 5mm hex wrench, it look great on my 2000 Honda VT1100C3 shadow aero.

Bought this for my 2006 Honda Vtx 1300, needed another place to put a bag with my wife riding with me. Fits perfect, good quality. I would recommend this product!
