I have had this product for 35 days and just notice it is broken. I don't know how long it's been broken but it doesn't work. Unfortunately I am 6 days out of the 30-day return policy. Do not waste your money!

It def seals as advertised. However I’m not sure what I think about it turning on from time to time.It’s nice it will maintain its seal this way. But the device obviously does not hold a seal indefinitely. Better than just having a Tupperware container, however over time air is leaking in. Would I trust this category of devices if they didn’t recheck their seals once in a while now? Maybe it’s characteristic of the tech and design. I guess it’s ok because if it only tried to seal once and slowly filed with air how would I know without checking on it?My best case would be it to seal once properly and that’s it but apparently this one will reseal every once in a while. It will do it more often if grinds get in the silicone seal. After cleaning it will go longer.There is a nice res plunger Indicator for the seal.Over all I’m pleased and the coffee smells fresh every time I release the seal. If I had more than one of these buzzing though at a time it would be annoying. Not sure if I’m going to look for one with a better seal or not.

The first time opening it I had to use a bit of effort as the seal was stuck to the glass. After that it doesn't take much effort once you release the pressure. It's very easy to use, pressing one of two buttons and you can hear it occasionally turning on and vacuuming air. The charge lasts a long time even with the occasional random turn on and opening it every day to scoop coffee out. We placed our pre-ground coffee in the container to preserve it's freshness and keep it at room temperature.

I am very happy with this product. It charges quickly, seals perfectly and stays sealed for a long time before needing recharging. When I first received the canister it seemed to be charged so I tried it out and it worked but several hours later I could hear it automatically vacuuming as the seal loosened. After this happened several times I realized that the internal battery simply needed a charge. I charged it and several weeks later it's still holding strong. This is a very attractive and useful storage item for a coffee lover but it could be used for any number of items you want to keep fresh. I'm actually considering swapping out all my existing canisters that currently contain flour and other products with these to ensure that my dry ingredients all stay as fresh as possible!

Have had others that are always losing vacuum. This one does not. Works perfect. Would buy again.

My original event suggested that this thing kept turning the pump on every few minutes. The problem is is that the instructions are poorly written. If you find that the pump continues to turn on every few minutes, then you just need to turn the device off. You can do that by holding the on and off button until the red light turns on.

This air tight container keeps my grounds and beans as fresh as possible after roasting. Easy to use and the setting the date on the top is nice to have. Small enough to keep in my apartment kitchen and not take up too much space.
