Great for use with thicker threads like sashiko cotton and pearl cotton. I thought I lost my 1st one, found it but bought this as a backup. I use it all the time with no breaking of either of the wires.

Way more expensive that the little metal tabs with the same basic wire triangle to slip through the eye of the needle to make a bigger target for the thread---BUT---this gadget offers two wire triangles. One on one end of a pencil like body and the other on the on the other end. Having a sturdy grip makes a difference. It's challenging enough to maneuver the needle without having to mess with the old fashioned metal tab threader that barely sticks out from your thumb and forefinger.

Needle threading has never been my favorite part of sewing...this handy gadget threads needles faster than my machine can! If you hate to fuss with thread, you will enjoy this simple tool. It's well designed and made of fairly sturdy metal on the tip. It's easy to thread from behind the needle because of the handle length. Give it a try!

I purchased this because I was frustrated with how quickly the needle threaded I purchased at the local department store kept falling apart. I'd spend $3 for a 3 pack that most times I'd only get a couple uses out of before the wires would fall off/disconnect. I was a bit skeptical about this as it looked as if the wires on this could fall apart just as easily but so far it's been really sturdy despite all the use it gets. Previously the 3 packs would last maybe 3-4 days, but I've been using this well constructed gadget for over 2 months & it's still going strong. I only wish that I had found one of these a lot earlier as it would have saved me not just money but a lot of frustration. I highly recommend this handy little gadget as it might cost a bit more than the cheaper little threaded but it is more than worth it given how durable it is.

I loved this when I first received it. Having the two different size loops was extremely handy and allowed me to use the threader with various size needles. Unfortunately, it didn't last long and one of the threader loops broke about a month into it. It was probably my fault for trying to pull thread through a needle eye that was too small, but that's kind of the point of a needle threader to me. If the needle has a larger eye, I don't NEED a threader! :)So, it was good while it lasted, but it didn't last nearly long enough.

I am constantly loosing my needle threader and just can't seem to thread it without one. On top of losing them the small ones don't seem to work long and the threader part will end up getting pulled out rendering it useless. This one is great as its handle is long making it easy to spot in my sewing bag and easier to hold. The removable covers for the threading part are great and keep it safe, prolonging use. The plastic is very durable and strong. It has 2 different sizes of threaders which has come in handy since I use a variety of mediums when sewing, knitting, etc. I will be buying one for my mom and sisters so they can enjoy it like I do!

This is the best needle threader I have found. The little wire seems to be pretty well made. They do break after awhile but I am almost done with a cross stitch baby quilt and have only broken one wire. The others I have tried seemed to break after only a few times. I will purchase these again
