I bought this in 2021 and have used it quite a bit. It's held together well and is easy to clean. I have hard water and the only piece of advice I could post is that after you wash it in the dishwasher, either scrub it with a brush or blow air through the screen. I get a build up of whatever is in my hard water, which ends up preventing the water from freely flowing through the screen.

I love the county line products. I have several of the lids that make my 2 quart mason jars into pitchers. This makes making iced coffee super easy cold brew coffee is much better than brewing and cooling down your coffee.

Perfect fit for the jar/pitcher from the same brand. Used it to make milk tea and worked exactly as needed. Cleaning can be a bit finicky since I don’t want a bunch of tea leaves going down our drain. But overall it’s easy enough. Very happy with this purchase!

I was using 2 quart Mason jars for cold brew tea and coffee then straining once brewed. This filter is brilliant, saves time, mess and is simple to clean. Pop it in the jar, put tea or coffee in the filter, add water, pull out filter once brewed. This filter is well constructed, fits perfectly and and makes 2 quart brewing a charm. Highly recommend if you enjoy cold brew.

Le filtre devrait faire dans un pot Mason de 2 litres, mais il est trop haut.

This is my second filter - I've been using one of these for several years and decided I'd like to have one for my office at work, too. I prefer hot brew coffee and really like this filter because it's more sustainable than disposable filters, I can allow a longer steep time than a drip coffee maker provides, and the steel filter doesn't leave that paper after-taste that paper filters do.I like the simplicity of making coffee this way: place the filter in the half-gallon mason jar, pour in the grounds, pour in the hot water, and let it steep. No space-hogging, ugly coffee maker on my counter, plus the filter and mason jar are easy to clean with hot water and a bottle brush. I've not had any problems with the filter clogging and, even after several years, the gasket is still working fine.I made cold brew with this, too, using more grounds and an overnight steeping time; it was fine, but I prefer hot brew.If you like your coffee scalding hot, then this method is not for you unless you pour the finished coffee into a thermos or keep the mason jar (or your coffee cup) on some sort of warming plate. The price seems a little expensive to me, but since it's lasted several years of constant use, it was a good investment.I'm very happy with this product and highly recommend it and County Line Kitchen products!

This filter is essential for no-fuss cold brew coffee at home! This product definitely takes the mess and hassle out of enjoying your favorite coffee without paying coffeehouse prices. If you love the taste of cold brew but want to skip the drive-through wait or save a few bucks, then this is the tool you need. Why do I love this filter so much? It's easy to use and clean, it's durable, it provides a consistent end result, and it's economical.Easy to use and clean: it's as simple as removing from the box, giving a quick wash (it's dishwasher safe, but I hand-washed), and inserting into your 2 quart/half gallon mason jar. You add ground coffee (coarse ground is recommended, I use around 3 oz by weight of ground Cameron's coffee for 2 quarts) then fill your jar with water, add the jar lid, and let it steep in your refrigerator for 24-48 hours. Once it's steeped as long as you like, lift the filter out and discard the grounds; you may need to rinse the filter to remove all of the coffee grounds, but then it can go straight into your dishwasher.Durable: I've had this filter for a few months now and it's held up to my toddler dropping it and playing with it as well as multiple washes. There are no signs of wear and it still looks brand new.Consistent end result: This one is simple but so important - consistent results. I know that if I measure the same amount of coffee into the filter and steep for the same amount of time, I'll have the same flavor and strength of coffee every time. I've made around a dozen batches of coffee using the same brand and water-to-coffee ratio, and I've found the coffee has been consistently great.Economical: This may be the most important criterion for me, as the filter paid for itself within the first month over buying cups of cold brew coffee at the local coffee shop or at the grocery store. For less than twenty dollars, you can use this simple filter with any ground coffee you choose and make your own. I spend around 10-15 dollars a month on ground coffee with this filter, which would save me 75-80 bucks each month over ordering a simple cold brew at the local coffee shop. The bottom line is any cold brew coffee fan can absolutely DIY at home with this easy-to-use filter and save money as well as enjoying a custom flavor or blend hassle-free.
