overall design of this sheath is good. didn't realize it stored the mattock in the disassembled condition. The problem is the buckle that holds the blade and handle in position. this buckle has no quick release, it must be completely disassembled to insert the blade and handle. this makes the operation time consuming and cumbersome. would give it 4 or 5 stars with a better buckle.
