We made this purchase in September 2024 so we have had it for 7 months and it is breaking all over the place. The red plastic bottom is chipping off and being held together with duck tape. The plastic clear sides are all cracked. We regret the purchase, not good quality and not worth the money.

I had this for years and it worked really well. The heat will make the plexiglass brittle. And after a while all the plastic parts break until finally the plexiglass wall that holds up the kettle will break. Makes good popcorn though.

Not worth the price or the headache. Slow to pop, hard to clean, leaves about half the kernels unpopped. So disappointing.You’re better off getting an aluminum pan and cooking on the stovetop. I also hate that I cannot return it. Apparently ‘subpar performance’ is insufficient cause for a return of a $150 kitchen gadget

We’ve popped popcorn several times in this machine and it doesn’t burn and is fast to pop. We love it.

1. The vents on the back spray your wall with hot oil vapors and leave stains2. Difficult to clean, with the outlet inside3. no matter what oil or butter we use, popcorn is chewy, when compared with our old maker4. Short plug, needs extension cord5. Doesn’t disassemble to wash components6. Cheap plastic. I don’t trust it to last for frequent use.

Do not buy this model. The kettle is attached to a thin plastic wall and will crack and break off, possibly causing severe injuries and burns. Beware!
