Wonderful! Very sturdy. The best part is they can swivel or pivot. That means they can be mounted on an adjacent wall & still support a rod on the other wall. Great when there’s no room for a bracket in the corner on a rod wall.

First off, these are the best bang for buck on Amazon for curtain rod brackets that can hold 1 inch rods.They would probably hold up curtain rods pretty good if I actually used them to hold curtains, but what if I put something heavier, or heavy thermal curtains or something and had to extend them out from the wall as far as they would go? All that leverage would bend the bracket right? Well maybe not, here's what I did:1. I drilled in a second screw and nut into the slot to give it more stability and make it less "bouncy" when it was all the way extended. That helped a lot but on one particularly heavy setup the bracket still wanted to bend, so I put my engineering hat on and figure it out.2. What holds weight really well in engineering? Arches. Ask the Romans. So I used JB Weld to build up a little material at the 90 degree corner and sure enough, bingo, no sag, at all. Now, mine don't look exactly like an arch, more like a horribly done tack weld (which actually might work now that I say it, maybe I'll have to try that next!). The point is the added material spreads the weight out and it they are now amazingly stable.Good luck I hope this helped!

It was fairly simple to install these into the studs. There is an adjustable collar that allows for further extension from the wall. I would have appreciated them being closer than their minimum allowed to block more light, but it works sufficiently.
