I found the perfect magnetic mount curtains rod bracket for my metal side door. It don't require drilling or complicated installation. The curtain rod isn't included but with the flexible clamp it was easy to find a black metal rod that worked. It has a strong neodymium magnet and is anti-slip and scratch resistant . The maximum weight these brackets hold is 10 pounds. The price is reasonable and the magnetic mount curtain brackets work as advertised.

These magnetic brackets are super handy if you work in a cubicle. I ordered them specifically to hang a privacy curtain, but use one of the additional hooks to hang my headset out of the way. The brackets are simple, no frills, coated metal. They hold a tension rod securely with a strong magnet that doesn’t budge. They were very easy to install. I just stuck them to the metal top walls of my cubicle. Someone in my office has already asked me where I got them. $20 for four is a good deal, considering the multiple uses.

Not the prettiest things, but they're coated, which I suppose gives them more grip. And the base is also coated so you don't damage your door or wherever you're hanging them. I like the flexibility of using them where and however far apart I choose. There are strong magnets in the base, but you can slide them on the metal to get them right where you want them (without fear of scratching the surface). These are working great on my mud room door, which has a metal grid over the window. The opening seems inordinately wide, but I just put a spring curtain rod in there since I had one handy. You could literally use a pretty big dowel rod if you wanted to.

We originally got these for our back door, thinking it was metal. It’s not. (Oops.) But they do stick like a champ to our metal front door, and I can absolutely see how these would be useful for renters, RVs, or anyone who doesn’t want to drill into walls or doors (and has a magnetic surface!).You get two sets in the pack (4 brackets total), which makes the $20 price point feel fair — especially since they seem durable and grip really, really well to any metal surface. They’re sized for a thin-diameter curtain rod, perfect for privacy curtains on doors or smaller windows. I also saw someone in the reviews using them in the kitchen, which inspired me — I’m now using three to hang different baby bottle brushes off the side of our metal countertop dishwasher so the brushes can drip directly into the sink. Genius. It saves me from constantly wiping the counter where they were sitting and might even help the brushes last longer. Really happy with this idea!Even though we couldn’t use them for our original plan, I’d still recommend these if you have metal doors, appliances, or surfaces where a no-drill curtain or hanging solution would come in handy. They’re strong, compact, and surprisingly versatile.

These magnetic curtain rod holders work well to hang curtains on a steel skinned door. The magnets are strong for a light weight to medium weight curtain material even if you have a few coats of paint over the steel. The rubber coating on the brackets help to prevent the rod from sliding out if you push a single panel curtain to the side. The bracket closure for the rod is large, nearly 1 inch, and isn't very pretty or practical for a small telescoping curtain rod, but it does work. They extend off the door about 3.5 inches, again not very attractive. As a possible solution to avoid drilling into a steel door and permanently damaging the door it's a creative option

Strong magnets. Would work great if only metal surrounded my windows. It looked like metal! It’s not metal because these don’t stick. I should have made sure before buying these.

Incredibly useful and nondestructive option for renters but don’t expect them to hold up large or heavy curtains (except maybe when being put on bare metal).I think the best use case for these is for renters who want to block light or get more privacy, but who don’t want to keep curtain up all the time. They also would work as a way to temporarily split a room to give a little more privacy for a guest.I have a small apartment window that is surrounded by a metal frame covered in plaster. The plastic/rubber coating didn’t mark up my walls and the rod holders did good job of holding up a small blackout curtain. These work best when placed directly on metal, even the small amount of plaster over the metal in my case weakened their hold. Still useable, but buyers should be aware that this product uses 6 smaller magnets, which together aren’t as strong as the one larger magnet used in more expensive magnetic mounts.
