I just got these cleats for a new Bontrager Cicuit Road shoes the at I got to replace my Peloton shoes. The reason to upgrade the peloton shoes is primarily cosmetic and comfort (my peloton shoes been too tight at times). The cleats appeared to be made similarly to the Peoloton cleats. Why I’m taking 2 stars off: first, this cleats don’t have an adjustment line - it is impossible to determine the midpoint necessary when adjusting the cleats to your feet (if this important to you, I would not recommend these cleats). Secondly, they fit too loose into the peloton pedals - if tight fit tot the pedal is important to you OR if you have another rider using peloton cleats, you will need to a)replace all shoes to these cleats or b)tighten the peloton pedal to work with these cleats and make it super hard to the other rider using peloton cleats. In my case, my wife is keeping her Peloton shoes and I already got her complaint about “what did I do to the pedals?” - our solution is to replace her cleats (something we weren’t intending to do). Third - the friction button, it is really impossible to tell what is this for or the difference between the high and low position - not even in the YouTube channel, one can get a simple explanation.In summary, if you are not bothered by imperfect cleat fit, replacing additional pairs of cleats to match the super tight peloton pedals and you don’t care for understanding what the friction thingy is abou, you’ll be a happy shopper.Thank you to those who answered my question about what difference there is between the old and new models.

The cleat packaging looked like it had previously been opened and resealed. When I opened it up and took a closer look, three washers were missing as was one of the black inserts.
