We were sent a nylon string. Since it was for the kids' play guitar we weren't too fussed. Still does the job well enough for a 6yo strumming for fun.

I tried these, but prefer the carbon strings on the double top, and the nylon on the regular top

Sounds nice but something that I found is I need to tune them very often.

I got the top three strings of this set to try to recreate the sound of steel strings on my old no-name Japanese classical. I had already fitted the three bass strings from D'Addario's Folk Nylon set (bronze wound), but I wanted more punch from the trebles. These strings get close, and I'm only into it for $9.00 so far. After about a week of stretching, they're pretty stable and they definitely don't sound like the usual classical strings, will take a little adjustment on my part, but I think it will be an improvement long term.

I used this "titanium" string as a replacement "low G" string on a tenor ukulele. It seems to work as described. My former low G string was light tension and I didn't like it because it sounded rubbery and muffled. The tone from the titanium string is very bright and clear. I think it would do just as well on a classical guitar.
