Quick release is made of aluminum and rather thick so it took forever to release from heater core on Chevy avalanche. Took forever but did eventually get the job done. Most of the rest of the kit meets expectations. Also comes with a few replacement pieces of rubber because it can get pinched and break in tight places so that was a nice touch. If u can find them order extras fyi
