Don’t attempt if you are unfamiliar with how things are put together, hardest part is getting the case off. Otherwise this really is a plug and play part. Easy peasy.

This is a perfect fit for my MSI GS70 2QE Stealth Pro! The computer was constantly shutting down putting me at my wits end. Yes, the battery is old, the power supply is old, and the charging port wobbly so I decided to replace the charging port first. I am so glad I did. This charging port saved my laptop!!! I was a little nervous about replacing the part myself, but after watching a couple of YouTube videos that walk you through the process, I realized this was a fairly simple installation. As it turns out, the old port was in pieces and very little if any electric current was being sent to the battery. The installation was pretty straight forward and took under 5 minutes. To be honest, removing and attaching the back cover took longer. Just make sure:1. You’re working on a flat surface,2. Pay attention to the “blue” screws. If you have to, mark the locations on the back cover with pieces of painters tape or liquid whiteout (It’s what I usually have on hand and easy to remove),3. Keep a container handy to store the removed screws (would hate to lose one),4. There is a one screw protected under the ‘void warranty sticker’ to be removed as well, so make sure you are out of warranty5. Make sure you are groundedThe new connector fits perfectly and is now charging the battery. The part itself appears to be the same quality, length & fit as the original cable. The charger connects and powers up the battery. Overall, it fits and works perfectly. Worth every penny! 5-stars!!!

Works, fits, looks solid. Would be nice if it came with a tiny packet of thermal paste. Wink, wink.
