Little sisters laptop was having problems, she plugged it in and smoke came out. Took it apart and found the oem part had broken. Ordered this replaced the part and it works again. I had already told her the laptop was probably dead so really glad it is working again. Easy replacement, quick shipping. Really pleased overall.

It was slightly longer than the original plug, but that didn't make any difference. Useful hint, take a picture before you start taking things apart if your an amateur like me. Good luck
