Exact fit for Inspiron 17-3780. Seems like good quality and charger cable connection fit well.

First glance, I thought this is too short but it is exactly same as old part so works great. Needed for computer repair and was a very easy install.

The OEM design is poor. The depth of the port is much less than the insertion connector length of the charger. That is the reason for the failure of the OEM part, and potentially this part if not used with great care.

I had already returned one jack i recieved from another site. The previous one was to long ,the pins were backwards. This one was absolutely identical to the one I pulled out. WORKS like a champ. So you have to look at these cables closely its dc power so it has to be right. And this one fit the bill to a T.

After installing this power jack into the laptop, the error in the picture is displayed every time the computer is powered on. I know that the problem is not the battery because the same battery in a different laptop does not generate the warning. The inability to determine the power adapter wattage and type prevents the laptop from fully charging the battery, so the laptop can only be used for a few minutes before needing to be plugged back in.When plugged in, the computer works fine (other than the warning at power on).

Tripped over the power cord and broke off the pin inside the laptop so it wouldn't charge. Found this on Amazon and BANG!...Fixed in 10 minutes!
