I gave 5 stars because of the product and how it turned out. Hopefully it lasts 3 + years as advertised. I would be happy with 2. Last year (early 2024) we had our pool deck redone with pebble rock and the contractor said we would have to touch it up after a couple years. Well, it was less than a year, they went out of business and I went in search of this special epoxy. Found it! Not many directions with it so let me share what I learned:1) Directions included say mix for 2 minutes, jug says 3+. Stick to the 2 minute side2) I mixed 32 ounces of A with 16 of B. This turned out to be the perfect amount for a standard size paint roller tray. Don't get cocky or lazy and mix more.3) I found if you use a brush around the edges of "things" that the act of dipping the brush will heat up the epoxy faster and it will harden much faster. I mixed the above amount, used a brush then tried to roll after that. The first time I tried to roll, it got sticky and the material hardened shortly afterward. Next round I mixed a much smaller batch to use with a brush.4) Buy disposable stuff, brush, rollers, roller extension pole, paint tray liners, mixing cups. They get sticky. Ever seen the movie Christmas Vacation after Chevy Chase gets done putting up the Xmas tree and he sticks to everything? That will be you.5) I have a couple of divots that need to be patched where the pebbles weren't mixed well during the original application. The broke free and created a couple of "potholes". I plan to do that next. I'm not sure if before or after is best, but that's the approach I am taking.I included some pictures so you can see how it brings it back to life with the sparkle and luster of something brand new. Feels good on the feet again and the water still drains through to our drainage system underneath.
