I bought this to make surfboard repairs to epoxy boards, and also occasionally use it on poly boards. I can prepare the repair, put it in the sun, and be sanding in less than 15 mins. I've done small to large repairs with this, from laying 6 oz repair patches, to small little dings. It is very thick, so it can help to heat it up if you're trying to wet out glass. I use heat gun on low for a very short time to help it flow after I spread it onto glass. You have unlimited working time until you place it in the sun, so if the glass isn't going clear, I can hit it with more heat and massage it in. This does need a vapor barrier to fully cure, so I use saran wrap or clear packing tape. If you do not seal it, it still cures, but has a slightly gummy top coating that can be wiped off with acetone, and the resin is nice and hard below. Normal epoxy fisheyes, gets lots of bubbles, and takes to long to cure that it drips away from non-flat surfaces. I find this resin is not plagued by those problems. So far I've some some pretty serious repairs to 4 boards and 2 boats, and have plenty left in the bottle. It seems to have a really long shelf life. One problem is that it can only be used on places that can get sun access, so you cannot use it to glue fin boxes or leash plugs back in, but is great for the top finishing.
