This diamond painting pen is great. It definitely is a game changer when it comes to diamond painting. I really like how quick it easily picks up the diamonds, and they do stay once they are sucked up. I think overall this is definitely help speed up my diamond painting process. One thing I don’t like about the vacuum though is the fact that it’s not battery operated so you have to have it plugged in at some source using a USB. Also, the tube kind of gets in the way as your diamond painting. But overall, I think that this is really nice and I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with the glue anymore.

The functionality and the quiet vacuum is absolutely awesome. It's whisper quiet and doesn't disturb the household or anyone and I love this feature. It has a great setting where you can adjust the pressure right on the USB cord. It's long cord makes moving around with it wonderful. I definitely will be using this more and more and getting away from the wax and putty. The shipping is a little challenging but it also depends on where you live. I love this new tool!

This is soooo awesome! This made it so much less frustrating to work with my diamonds. The tube is flexible enough and long enough that it isn't uncomfortable to work with the "leash". There were no instructions which was a little annoying but it was easy enough to figure out. I didn't even have to think about it. There are 2 different tips on the little motor. One sucks and one blows and of course I picked the wrong one but easily just switched it over. The "pen" part isn't the most ergonomic. It really feels just like a pencil so it isn't uncomfortable to use I am just use to my "pen" that I usually use that is a little fatter and more curvy. But the absence of having to deal with the wax is definitely worth the time it will take me to get used to this one.

The Diamond art painting pen is easy to use. The design could be a little fatter for comfort. The hose occasionally gets in the way... I always wish the cords were longer when I have to plug things in.What works:Easy drill pick up so very functionalno sticky pink stufffairly quietcons:no on and off switch..pen could be fatter/easier on my handNo instructionsStatement/Disclaimer: This review is part of Amazon's Vine Program which provides products in exchange for honest reviews. 1. Instead of wasting money on 5 little ziplock bags and a ring to hold them (which amounts to nothing!) Printing a set of instructions would have been much more useful! Having no instructions, I didn’t have any idea what the little filter was for or where it was supposed to go. I also didn’t know which hole on the pump the tube was supposed to go. Yes, all I needed to do was go back to the listing for the product and the directions were there but I shouldn’t have to do that. What if this was a gift for someone.2. Where I work on my diamond painting…there is no plug close by. The cord is not very long. But I am using a phone charger for the power and it seems to work well.3. One of the reasons I like diamond painting is the peace and quiet. The pump is a bit noisy.Even after all of this…do I like it? I certainly do! It never fails to pick up the drill and release it when touched down on the canvas.

I really like this diamond art vacuum pen! My kit contained all the listed parts except the filter - which is why I scored this with 4 stars. The hose measures 43.5 inches long and the electrical cord measures 39 inches long, which means both have enough length to make the vacuum easy to use when plugged into the USB port. I have to stick the hose all the way into the pen because without the filter, it doesn't have a secure seal; however, the vacuum still provides enough suction to hold the diamond, until it's touched to the canvas. The tray measures 4 5/8 inches long by 3.25 inches wide - this is larger than all the other trays I have. The five resealable bags are a good way to store diamond colors in progress, and the ring to hold them and the included brush make a nice bonus. I do wish there were an on/off switch on the vacuum, but since there isn't, I plugged it into a charger that has one. The vacuum is very quiet, so I can work on my diamond art while DH is sleeping. This kit is reasonably priced and works quite well!
