Very nice nippers! Worth spending a few bucks more for a quality pair

My hands are small they are a bit clumsy for me to handle but they are nice and sharp. Seems like they will last a long time. The length give you better leverage for a better cut but I have to use 2 hand to operate them.

very sharp, long grips and big grap makes it easy for work in woman hands =) I've done some trims and they are as sharp as new. It was easy to trim horse with overgown hoofwall.

This is the second of these I've purchased and am disappointed with the lack of edge on them. My four year old nippers of the exact same brand are sharper than these brand new. I would recommend buying something a bit higher end or returning them if you're not happy with the sharpness. I had mine for too long before use to do this so I have only myself to blame for dull nippers.

Precision made and excellent product. Longer handled makes for faster and smoother cuts, particularly when you have a horse that doesn't want to keep still! Very satisified.

These make the job of trimming your horse's hooves easy. I have been using them for several months now, and they are still sharp. Eventually they will need sharpening, but they hold an edge a long time. Just don't use them for pulling out nails!!! The long handles also help with minimizing the effort needed to slice through the hoof wall.

I was anxious to put these new nippers to use as my old ones were badly chipped thanks to a friend using them to pull horseshoe nails. But I was very disappointed when I went to use the new ones from Diamond, who I thought had a good reputation for quality products. They were so dull they would hardly cut a hoof at all. I had to use all my strength to get one hoof trimmed. I finally went back to the old nippers, chips and all. They took about half the effort. I'm going to see if I can return these nippers.
