They worked just fine. Could have used some sort of non-grip texture for the grip.

Item arrived cracked with the hook-eye pin missing. Nipper, sharpener is usable but a third of the product is missing and a crack is compromising the integrity of the tool. Very unfortunate.

Very functional set of nippers. No need to spend obscene amounts of money on the trendy expensive nippers that are out there. These work great, will last a long time, they have the needle/bodkin that helps with flies that have their eyes filled with cement. This is a no regrets purchase.

Dr. slick always produces top notch items in my view and this is no different. This nipper replaces one from another company which turned out to be a waste of money because the cutters were such poor quality I could not easily cut my tippet material. This is not the case with these. These nippers work good and I really like the sharpness of the needle to clear the eye on flies that may have head cement in them.
