Fantastic piece of equipment with many cool features ie... dipstick, drain plug, looks, added oil capacity etc. My truck has a 4” lift and the track bar does not clear the differential cover. Have one on the rear and love it so much I wanted the front unit to match. Unfortunately, I had to remove and return.

I purchased this for my '99 F350 4x4 dually. It mounted on perfectly with no clearance issues with the drag link. It appears to be made of high quality.

Well thought out product. Installed this today, about 2 hr project. A couple of install tips: turn the wheels to the passenger side before installing, it helps to slide the mag-hytec cover into place without hitting steering arms. Then turn wheels back to drivers side to give you more room under the fender to fill with gear fluid. Buy a transmission oil spout/tube also.

It didn’t fit it rubbed against my tie rod when turning. I had to grind it down with a cutoff wheel.

This may be a frivolous purchase as the front diff in a 4x4 does not get used enough to really generate enough heat to worry about, and it is debatable what these really do for temperature. However, for a drain plug and magnetic dipstick equipped cover that is made in the USA from a good company, this is it. You can tell when you handle one of these that they are a quality piece. Each one is serial numbered if that means anything. The photo of this is a bit outdated. The new design Dana 50/60 cover you will receive has less fins on the top left side, it is angled for clearance with your trac bar which was an issue on the original design shown. Photo of what you will receive is attached. Maybe not quite as pretty, but it wont be crashing into things. The wenches to install it come with it which is great, however I recommend using a tapered wrench as the flat cut wrench it comes with has to be lined up perfectly to go into the bolt heads. Overall, it is an easy install and I am happy with how it looks. Plus it matches the rear pan and trans pans.

By far the Best Differential Company u can buy from... they look amazing first, 2nd they are very easy to install, 3rd they have a magnet inside if any metal is in the fulid, 4th they come with a rubber gasket already on the pan and the Allen head bolts that make it so easy to install, 5th the front cover holds a quart and half more gear fulid... that's a Huge bouns...I won't run anything else but Mag-Hy-tec Covers...Love thier product
