NCV DETECTION
If you want to sense whether there is AC voltage or electromagnetic field in space, you can put the front end of the clamp head of the instrument close to the object to be measured about 0-5CM for induction detection, the analog amount of induced voltage is about: ≤ critical voltage 100V display "- - - L", L stands for low voltage, > critical voltage 100V, display "- - - H "
DUAL TEMPERATURE UNIT DISPLAY
Turn the function selection rotary switch to the temperature °C/°F measurement gear. Connect the negative and positive ends of the Type K thermocouple to the COM input jack and the °C/°F input jack. Place the Type K thermocouple in the object or environment to be measured. Read the measured value from the LCD display.
AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN
The meter will "automatically shut down" (sleep state) if neither the function button nor the measurement function selector dial moves for 15 minutes during a measurement. In the automatic shutdown state, the instrument "turns on" automatically by pressing the function button or turning the dial switch.

It's loaded with features and is affordable for the DIY'er. The case quality is much better than others'. Larger too. I can fit my line splitter/GFCI tester in with it. I only wish it had BT and an app, but all of the affordable ones with the app are of low quality. I love it so far.

I've only had the opportunity to check to make sure it actually worked. It appears it does. There was no manual with it so I'm winging it. I got this to check various electronics to be sure I wasn't going to "fry" them. The clamp seems quite solid and the display is easily read. I can't speak to longevity because I only got it yesterday. I "HOPE" it gives me years of service. If anything changes or it proves to be above and beyond, I'll gladly post it here and will also post if it fails.

I gave three stars because the unit auto powers off too quickly (requires manually resetting the ammeter back to AC), the auto ranging feature makes finding the decimal point into a difficult task (takes a while to stop to view and to make sense of the value displayed), and also the ammeter response seems to have a pronounced latency. But for the cost, this unit seems to be a good value, and the accuracy seems to be excellent (at least for the AC ammeter function - so far I have not used this meter for anything else).

I needed to measure both inrush and running current for a couple of motors, check a start capacitor, and get an idea of the load on those circuits. This inexpensive device did it all and even has a handy light.A great value IMHO.
