Because of the demands Billy puts on his system, Compatible for DiMarzio made several modifications to existing models in order to deliver even more of what he wanted. The compatible for DiMarzio DP145 Will Power Bass Neck Pickup is very deep-sounding with great low-end definition. Its dimensions are the same as the Model One, but it's a little louder and fatter-sounding, and pole piece spacing is slightly wider for better string alignment with long-scale basses. The DP145 pickup is humbucking with 4-conductor wiring.

Manufacturers flaw affected the dimensions, made it difficult to install. Excessive coating on pickup at the bottom was sloppy. I had to sand it off.

Excellent tone! Description as written about this pickup is exactly the way it works. Put it in an EB0 Epiphone it was wonderful! Brought the life out of a nice Bass guitar and made it much better

This was a replacement for the factory humbucker in an Epiphone EB-0 bass. It did require some slight enlargement of the original pickup opening, but that was accomplished with a small wood chisel and dremmel tool. With 8 pole pieces you have excellent adjustment capability. Series and parallel wiring alternatives allow for several tone variations. This pickup is a definite improvement in overall sound quality from the factory unit. Well worth the price.
