I would have given 5 star, but no instructions, and not enough spacers to fit correctly on my 24 KLX300SM. Thank goodness for coffee cans of washers / spacers. Good fit now, looks good and solid. I'll post pics later. I would buy it again.

the description reads billet aluminum, only the platform is aluminum and the mounting rack is steel. I would have given it 5 stars if it was all aluminum.

We bough a similar looking one for our 300L and it flexes when you strap anything to it. This rack is solid, one thing though. Says it was new but it came to me used. Dings and scratches on it upon delivery, so annoying. But build quality is good, the screws are recessed and flush. Some other racks have screws sitting on top of the rack which is annoying. This is a good one, but I had to make the spacers that sit on the rear fender. It did not come with all the spacers you need to finish the job. But I would buy this one again! It’s not flimsy and solid feeling.

I got this to put on my Harley Soft Tail. It fit great with only minor modifications. The front mounts fit perfectly, I just had to make two brackets out of flat bar to mount the rear to the existing saddle bag mounts.

The product name and description are misleading, this is NOT compatible with the KLX300R, only the KLX300. The two models use different subframes, so this will not fit the "R" version.
