I have three of these drum mats from different manufacturers and they are all of the same quality. I can no longer tell you which is which...They all use the same tightly woven fibers which work to keep the rug from ripping or from being punctured by stands. They all have the same little knobby bottom to help it grip, and they all claim to help with sound absorption. In other words, they are all made of the same material. Choose the side you need (and always go bigger) and then just get the one that is at the best price at that size.

Although the listed dimension (4x6') is accurate, this unfortunately doesn't really work as a drum rug... at least not for our household. The non-slip grip bottom is okay but nothing to rave about, and the top doesn't really have any 'grip' that we can tell. It's kind of felt-like, so although the rubber-bottoms of the stands don't seem to move, the bass still slid a bit while he was lightly warming up and adjusting the configuration. The rug is thinner than we anticipated as well, so we're not really convinced it will help protect the flooring if he actually gets going and jams out. The info says it's supposed to help absorb vibration but honestly I don't really expect it to do much in the way of "soundproofing" (thankfully that wasn't a big draw for us as his kit is set up in the basement, but it may be something to keep in mind if you have a kit in an upstairs room). Finally, while 4x6' is a decent size for small kits, it doesn't really suit a larger kit configured for a bigger guys' set up, and I'm not talking about an extravagant *oversized* kit -- double bass, double floors, quad rack, snare, high hat, double rides, triple crash: old school metal on an old school expanded Pearl set... but maybe he just likes things weirdly spread out (and the throne isn't even on it!).Overall, for a small beginner kit this might work nicely, but honestly I wouldn't recommend it: there are better options out there.

I do production work for bands and I'm always having drummers ask if I have a rug for them to set up on.So, when I saw this I snagged it. I figured at this price I can keep it on stand by in my trailer in case the inevitable question comes up.The bottom is a non skid material imbedded in the back side of the rug. There's a lot of material put on the rug so I'm very confident in saying that it won't slip. The top isn't really what I would call a rug. The product description calls it a material but to me it looks more like a thick felt. For that reason I'm a little hesitant to proclam anything about how long it's going to last. However, I can definately say that it's going to keep a drum kit from sliding around. It's not super thick, In fact, when it came in it was folded up instead of rolled up. I laid it out and let it relax. First with the bottom side up then with the topside up. Most of the creases disappeared at that point so I rolled it up. It rolled into a not so heavey piece that was easy to carry and I feel like it's going to server my intended purpose really well.

I ordered the PRIHALF Drum Rug to help keep my drum set in place during practice and performances, and while it’s a decent product overall, I have mixed feelings. The 4×6ft size is perfect for my setup, and the non-slip grip bottom does an okay job of holding the rug in place on the floor. The material feels sturdy, and it offers some protection for the floor as well. However, I’m giving this a 3 out of 5 stars because the bass drum still moves around while playing, despite the grip on the bottom of the rug. It’s a bit frustrating because I was hoping for a more stable surface, especially for the bass drum, which tends to slide even with the rug in place.Overall, it’s a decent drum mat if you’re looking for something that provides basic protection and grip, but it may not offer the stability you need for all drum components.

I'm a working drummer and I was looking for another drum rug to use in a rehearsal space. This one looked promising on Amazon, but after getting it home, I was completely disappointed.A drum rug has three main requirements to be of use to a working drummer. I find that this "drum" rug marginally performs one of them and fails at the other two.1) Protect the drums and the floor from each other. Drumsets have spikes on pedals and bass drum spurs that can damage floors; some stage or playing surfaces may be rough and hard, which can damage the undersides of bass drums. This rug will probably safeguard the bass drums, but it is thin and probably will not keep bass drum spurs or pedal spikes from marring a floor.2) Have a grabby surface that helps keep pedals where they belong. Most good drum rugs are woven, in such a way that velcro and spikes on a hi-hat or bass drum pedal can stick to them. The surface of this rug is something approximating very shallow felt; It had zero grab on any of my pedals' undersides and was completely unhelpful at keeping them where they belong.3) Be skid-resistant. My primary drum rug has a nice, rubber-textured underside that keeps it in place on even hardwood or concrete floors. This rug has ... something on the bottom, but whatever it does, it does not create a non-skid surface. If anything, it makes it slipperier on hard floors.Do not waste your money on this "drum" rug. It's clearly not made by anyone with any knowledge of what a drum rug actually needs to do.

I find that a 4x6 rug is the perfect size for a 7 piece drum set. This rug covers most of the kit with a few of the legs from the cymbal stands hanging off the ends, which is no big deal. It has a nonslip bottom so you won’t slide around. Also rolls up easy for traveling to gigs. Solid rug for the money. Looks good in black too. Satisfied with this drum rug.
