The sizing is accurate and this does provide a generous amount of sound dampener on your floor. Comes with a Velcro strap sewn into the bottom on one side so you can easily roll it up, transport it, store it, whatever. It is a thin rug with seemingly tight-knit material and so far is pretty durable. It does help provide a decent amount of sound protection regarding thumps, heavy footsteps, etc but I used a rubber flooring mat previously which seemed to do a better job overall. This is a good backup for that but again not quite as sound proofing. Considering the rubber flooring was tore up pretty easily, I do appreciate having this, and it certainly beats not having anything.

For the price, this rug is good!The material feels smooth, it has the non slip finish so it stays in place, it’s light and it folds easily so when you go play shows you’re not struggling with a heavy rug that you can barely handle.I ordered it specifically for when I need to go play a show, and it looks like I scored because this rug has all the good qualities, however, being on the lighter size, I don’t expect it to last forever, but it looks like it can handle at least a year or two of use. Perfect size for my set, I know I’ll be ordering another one once this one is gone.

This is a decent, inexpensive drum mat. Ihjave it mainly to protect the rug in my music room. It is thin, but does the job I need it to do. It is not a mat I would buy for doing gigs, nut at home it is fine. The instructions say you can use a a cool iron to get out any shipping wrinkles. I did not find that to me the case. I expect the wrinkles will come out after a week or two on their own. And if not, I don't really care. My Alesis kit sits on it nicely, and I don't need to worry my hardware will damage my rug. So, I am happy with it.

If you play drums and you're looking for an affordable way to keep your kit in place, this rug is definitely a viable option.The grip on the bottom of the mat does an outstanding job of protecting against slippage. The front side looks good and blends in when laid out on stage or if you have it in your practice space. Another key element that helps this mat stand out is the velcro strap that allows you to roll it up and transport it within seconds. That is handy if you need to take it with you if you're playing a gig somewhere.The only drawback worth noting is the actual size. I currently play a five-piece kit, and it doesn't quite cover all the pieces. Some of the legs on my cymbals hang off a little bit. It still works and has a great hold, but I wanted to note this to give some sort of an idea of the rug's circumference.Oh, and I appreciate the included note that the rug can be ironed to remove the creases and lay more flush to the ground.This drum rug definitely holds up, avoids annoying slippage, and is easy to transport. Highly recommended if you're a drummer and need a reliable mat for your kit.

This rug does a good job of keeping your pedals (and kit) from sliding away from you, and it'll protect a nice hardwood floor, which is the primary reason I got it. The material is fairly thick, adding some sound dampening, but not so bulky that it would difficult to take on a gig. The top material is soft, rather than spongy, which may make it less durable, especially for your bass drum. The size is big enough for an advanced kit.

Not the best material. Gets dirty easy and moves too easily. Could be thicker. My kid playing the drum doesn't seem to mind but he probably wouldn't notice if nothing was there at all.
