Reduce the risk of dryer fire by keeping the dryer duct clean and free of lint. A lint trap can help improve the efficiency of your dryer by preventing lint build-up in the ductwork.
ATTACHING THE DUCT TO THE TOP OF UNIT
Slide the free end of the duct which leads outside, over the top collar of the lint trap unit.
ATTACHING THE DUCT TO THE BOTTOM OF UNIT
Slide the free end of the remaining duct coming from the dryer, over the bottom collar of the lint trap unit. Secure it with the other clamp.
INSTALLING THE UNIT TO THE WALL
Locate a stud behind the wall or mount directly to the wall using drywall plugs and screws (not provided).
CLEANING THE LINT SCREEN AFTER EACH USE
Open the door of the lint trap unit, remove the screen and clean off the lint.

The mesh in this lint trap is very fine so it works well at catching any extra lint. Very happy with how it works.

I already have this little lint trap installed for the last 10 years or so.It's still working perfectly and it's easy to clean.The clear plastic door cracked and needed to be held in place with tape so I had to order a new unit because you can't order just the door.I wish the door was designed differently or that the seller offered doors.Now I'm looking for a motivated geek to 3D print doors for me.It doesn't need to be see-through.

This was a great add on to my townhouse. The builder routed the dryer exhaust out the roof. The combination of a long run, going up, hard corners in the duct, and a poor exhaust vent caused a ton of lint to build up in my duct every year.I improved the ducting but also added this lint trap. It captures plenty of lint on every run. My only problem with this model was that the door would pop open regularly during use and there would be line everywhere in my laundry room. I had to contrive my own latch with magnetic drawer latches from the hardware store. Now it works great.

This lint trap works great. It does work. Have caught more lint that I thought the dryer was catching.My outdoor is cleaner after using this. It is mounted above the dryer, so it is easy to open the clear door and pull the screen out and knock off the lint in the trash can after each use.

This product has helped reduce the constant lint buildup on my dryer's exhaust pipe. Adding this lint trap allows the capturing of lint that the dryer filter misses and we noticed that it is quite a significant amount. I am rating it a great product,, with a transparent lid that allows you to promptly see how much cotton wool is collected on the screen and clean it up in a timely manner. I am glad to have caught these remaining cotton fibers that usually enter the exhaust pipe. Convenient and easy to use.

When we consider the fire risk of accumulated dryer lint,so we order it.This product was easy to install. This product does everything you want and it does work well.Very easy to install.in fact, really convenient as it went on the wall above the dryer. With the window, we can see when we need to clean it out.

So far no issues.It greatly reduces the lint build up in the ducts and therefore reduces the fire risk. It also reduces the frequency of the more arduous cleaning using the flexible brushes
