No change in signal strength at all. Shorter stock antennas worked Better as these. Waste of money.

I had to find this product from a recommend on Google. All I wanted was a longer antenna, I have a unique situation that requires a long wired antenna to get better speeds and this nailed it.

I had a line of sight issue I was trying to remedy with the aid of the longer chord on this than the one that came with the PC. Even after positioning these facing toward the signal with clear line of sight, signal was actually weaker than the obstructed view of the old one. I tried this in that location and the signal was weaker than the original dual band I was looking to replace.Always nice to have an extra.

I was using a usb dongle for my wifi connection and decided to install a card with antennae included which still fell short for improvement. I replaced the attached antennae with this little beauty and BOOM! Super bench mark.

This is a good WiFi antenna for PC with built-in RP-SMA WiFi antenna terminals. My desktop PC is under the table so this atenna with 10-feet cable allows me to place it on top of my monitor for better signal reception. Based on my test, this antenna work much better for 5.8G WiFi AC signals. It is not as good on 5.8G WiFi 6 though. I assume my observations may be due to the current WiFi channel allocations. If that is the case, it means this antenna may work better in some channels than others. Is that true to all WiFi attenna? If true, then my observation is not specific to this antenna.

I was torn between getting a wifi extender or this antenna set.I was getting DNS errors ever since I moved my desktop to a different part of my home office and my signal strength was really degraded. It seemed that being closer to my central router, the DNS errors were less. This let me keep my office in the new configuration and get a better signal by positioning the antenna.100% I can say this gave me a much better connection to my router. I tweaked the antenna directions a few times, and did find the highest signal strength angles, but it was just already a stronger connection than I had before so once it was looking great I just left it alone after a few tries. The antenna and base are made of durable plastic and you just screw the connectors on where the network card antenna were. No software, no upgrades, just works when you connect it. My connection speed is the same but my signal strength is stronger.I love that it has a long cord …10 ft! Great addition, well priced and I didn’t need to go buy an extender.Would buy again! For the price I can't beat it, I was about to spend $75 -$120 for a mesh system which I really didn't need to solve my immediate problem as this worked.Best to all! and Yes I'd recommend this and buy again if needed

I got this because we rearranged our bedroom/computer room and the location of my partner's computer put it getting about 10% signal strength, but we couldn't move the router and this new ISP doesn't provide for wired connections at all. I got him up to a functional signal strength by swapping his wireless card's antennae with the extension antenna from my card, but that got us both running at about 60% signal strength which isn't ideal for gaming, so I started looking for an antenna extension for him--preferably one with a cord longer than the 3-foot one on mine, as it just reached to the top of his desk. This one ticks ALL the boxes--standard connectors, long cord (10 feet!!) that'll let me locate his antennae up where it's got much better signal, good speed rating, good antenna strength for indoor applications...so I ordered it right away. It's as good as I'd hoped, and his computer is up to an 83% signal strength with it just connected and sitting on his desk, not even up on the wall where I want to mount it. Connecting it was really easy--screw the antennae onto the base, drop the cable down the back of the desk, unscrew the old antenna from the wifi card in the back of the computer, screw the new one onto the connections, and adjust the position of the base and attached antennae to get the best signal. It's literally a 5-minute install even if you're not handy with tools, and you shouldn't need a wrench to get the old antennae loose or tighten this one down; it'll work fine even if the connections are screwed on till they aren't easy to turn with your fingers anymore. With a 10-foot cord to the antenna, this can easily go up near the ceiling from a desk in a corner, or out into a hallway if the walls are interfering with signal and the computer is within a few feet of the door. You could even put a metal disk on the ceiling and make use of the magnetic base if needed to get the best signal in a really dead corner of the house, or place the magnetic base on a ventilation grate for central heat/air if you don't have somewhere else to locate it and can't drill holes to mount a metal pad. If you own the place, you could even run this antenna through a wall by drilling a fairly small hole, maybe 1/2" to fit both of the connector ends through. It gives SO much more flexibility in placement to find a good signal. And at $15, it's way cheaper and less installation hassle than buying a new high-gain WiFi card or another router that could be used to set up a mesh network. If you've got a dead corner or a computer with wifi antennae coming out the back that really needs a better connection, this is a really solid choice to improve its signal strength.
